Monday morning at the office was usually calm.

The front desk was spotless.

Color‑coded folders, labeled pens, sticky notes arranged like a rainbow.

And in the middle of it all stood a young woman with a huge smile.

“Good morning po, Ma’am Maya! I’m your new assistant — JENNY!”

Maya blinked.
“Oh! Welcome, Jenny. I didn’t know you were starting today.”

Jenny nodded enthusiastically.
“Yes po! I came early para ma‑organize ko lahat!”

Richard walked in behind Maya and froze.
“What… happened to the desk?”

Jenny beamed.
“Sir! I color‑coded everything! Para aesthetic and efficient!”

Liza arrived next — and nearly dropped her files.
“WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SYSTEM?!”

Jenny gasped.
“Ma’am Liza! I improved it po! Look — pink for urgent, blue for follow‑up, yellow for ‘cute but important’—”

“CUTE BUT IMPORTANT?!” Liza shrieked.

Maya stepped between them.
“Okay, okay, let’s breathe. Jenny, thank you for your initiative. But next time, ask first before reorganizing.”

Jenny nodded, still smiling.
“Yes po, Ma’am! I just want everything to be perfect!”

Richard whispered to Maya,
“She’s… enthusiastic.”

Maya whispered back,
“She’s chaos.”

Later that afternoon, Jenny approached Maya with a clipboard.
“Ma’am, I made a new schedule for you po! Para hindi kayo ma‑stress!”

Maya scanned it.

actually good.
Organized.
Clear.
Helpful.

Maya smiled.
“Jenny… this is impressive.”

Jenny lit up.
“Talaga po?! I just want to help!”

Liza peeked from behind her computer.
“Okay fine… she’s growing on me.”

Richard chuckled.
“Give her a week. She might fix the whole office.”

Maya nodded.
“Or break it.”

But one thing was certain —
