SCENE 1 — LUKE’S SECRET PLAN
Luke is pacing in his room, holding a notebook filled with crossed‑out ideas.
Luke: “Flowers? Too cliché.
Song? Too embarrassing.
Dinner? Too obvious.”
Nikki barges in.
Nikki: “Kuya, what are you doing?”
Luke: “Nothing.”
Nikki: “You’re planning a grand gesture.”
Luke: “No.”
Nikki: “Kuya… you’re literally holding a notebook labeled ‘Grand Gesture.’”
Luke hides the notebook.
Nikki smirks.
SCENE 2 — RICHARD ENTERS WITH DAD WISDOM
Richard knocks.
Richard: “Luke, anak… talk to me.”
Luke: “Dad… I want to tell Bella how I feel. Properly.”
Richard: “Good. What’s the plan?”
Luke: “That’s the problem. Everything sounds… wrong.”
Richard sits beside him.
Richard: “When I confessed to your mom… everything went wrong too.”
Luke: “Really?”
Richard: “Yes. I tripped. I spilled coffee. I forgot my lines. But Maya still said yes.”
Luke smiles.
Richard: “Grand gestures don’t need to be perfect. They just need to be sincere.”
Luke nods.
SCENE 3 — LUKE’S ATTEMPT #1: THE FLOWERS
Luke buys a bouquet.
He walks toward Bella’s office.
He rehearses.
Luke: “Bella… I like you. No. Bella… I care about you. No—”
He enters.
Bella turns.
Luke panics.
He hides the bouquet behind his back.
Bella: “Luke? What’s that?”
Luke: “Nothing.”
Bella: “Flowers?”
Luke: “No.”
The bouquet slips.
Falls to the floor.
Doris screams.
Doris: “OH MY GOSH HE BROUGHT FLOWERS!”
Liza: “CONFESSION ALERT!”
Bella blushes.
Luke picks up the bouquet and runs out.
SCENE 4 — LUKE’S ATTEMPT #2: THE LETTER
Luke writes a heartfelt letter.
He slips it into Bella’s bag.
He walks away proudly.
Bella enters the room.
She opens her bag.
The letter falls out.
Nikki picks it up.
Nikki: “Ate Bella… what’s this?”
Bella reads the first line.
Bella: “Dear Bella… I’ve been wanting to tell you—”
Luke jumps from behind a pillar.
Luke: “DON’T READ THAT!”
He grabs the letter and runs again.
Bella is left confused… and smiling.
SCENE 5 — LUKE’S ATTEMPT #3: THE SURPRISE SETUP
Luke decorates the Lim garden:
- Fairy lights
- Candles
- A small table
- A handwritten sign: “Bella, I need to tell you something.”
