SCENE 1 — THE SETUP

The Lim house is unusually quiet.

Maya is whispering instructions to Nikki and Abby.

Richard is adjusting the garden lights.

Manang Fe is praying the rosary.

Doris and Liza are hiding behind a bush.

Nikki: “Ma, bakit parang mission impossible ’to?”

Maya: “Because tonight… Luke will confess.”

Abby: “AYYYYY!”

Luke enters the living room.

Everyone freezes.

Luke: “Why is it so quiet?”

Maya: “No reason.”

Richard: “None.”

Nikki: “Zero.”

Abby: “Nada.”

Luke squints.

SCENE 2 — BELLA ARRIVES

Bella arrives with documents.

She looks around.

Bella: “Why is everyone… staring at me?”

Maya: “We’re just… happy to see you.”

Bella: “Tita Maya… you’re holding a camera.”

Maya: “For memories.”

Bella blushes.

Luke enters the hallway.

He sees Bella.

He stops.

She smiles.

He smiles.

Nikki whispers loudly.

Nikki: “THIS IS IT.”

SCENE 3 — THE GARDEN

Maya leads Bella outside.

Maya: “Bella, anak… wait here. Luke needs to talk to you.”

Bella’s heart races.

She stands in the middle of the garden — fairy lights glowing, soft music playing, the air warm and quiet.

Luke steps outside.

He sees her.

He freezes.

She turns.

Their eyes meet.

Everything stops.

SCENE 4 — THE CONFESSION BEGINS

Luke walks toward her slowly.

Bella’s breath catches.

Luke: “Bella…”

Bella: “Luke…”

He takes a deep breath.

Luke: “I’ve been trying to say this for weeks. Months, actually.”

Bella’s eyes soften.

Luke: “Every time I try… something interrupts us. Nikki. Doris. Liza. Fire alarms. Wind. Candles. Joma.”

Bella laughs softly.

Luke smiles.

Then he grows serious.

Luke: “But tonight… I don’t want to run anymore.”

Bella’s heart races.

SCENE 5 — THE REAL CONFESSION

Luke steps closer.

Luke: “Bella… I like you.”

Bella freezes.

Her eyes widen.

Luke: “I like you more than I planned. More than I expected. More than I should.”

Bella’s breath trembles.

Luke: “I like the way you smile. The way you talk. The way you care about everyone. The way you make everything feel… lighter.”

Bella’s eyes fill with tears.

Luke: “I like you… and I don’t want to pretend I don’t.”

Bella covers her mouth.

She’s shaking.

SCENE 6 — BELLA’S ANSWER

Bella steps closer.

Bella: “Luke… I—”

She pauses.

Her voice cracks.

Bella: “I like you too.”

Luke freezes.

Bella smiles — soft, shy, glowing.

Bella: “I’ve been trying to deny it… but I can’t. Not anymore.”

Luke’s chest rises sharply.

He looks at her like she’s the only person in the world.

SCENE 7 — THE ALMOST KISS (THE REAL ONE)

Luke gently holds Bella’s hand.

Bella looks up.

Their faces inch closer.

Luke whispers:

Luke: “Bella…”

Bella: “Luke…”

Their noses touch.

Their breaths mix.

Their lips almost—

SCENE 8 — INTERRUPTED AGAIN (OF COURSE)

Doris screams.

Doris: “OH MY GOSH THEY’RE CONFESSING!”

Liza: “KISS NA ’YAN!”

Bella jumps.

Luke sighs.

Nikki and Abby run out.

Nikki: “KUYA FINALLY DID IT!”

Abby: “ATE BELLA SAID YES!”

Maya wipes tears.

Maya: “Ay, anak… finally.”

Richard smiles proudly.

Manang Fe crosses herself.

Joma claps.

SCENE 9 — ENDING MOMENT

Luke turns to Bella.

Everyone is watching.

But he doesn’t care.

He squeezes her hand gently.

Bella squeezes back.

They smile at each other — soft, real, certain.

Luke whispers:

Luke: “This is just the beginning.”

Bella blushes.
