SCENE 1 — THE SHIFT
Bella arrives at the office.
Luke is already there… but something is off.
He doesn’t greet her.
He doesn’t smile.
He doesn’t look at her.
Bella freezes.
Bella: “Luke… good morning.”
Luke: nods
Luke: “Morning.”
Bella’s heart sinks.
SCENE 2 — BELLA’S CONFUSION
Bella sits at her desk, staring at Luke’s closed office door.
Doris and Liza appear.
Doris: “Bella… bakit ang lungkot mo?”
Bella: “Luke is… different today.”
Liza: “Different bad or different kilig?”
Bella: “Different… distant.”
Doris gasps.
Doris: “OH NO. CONFLICT EPISODE.”
Liza: “This is the part before the big finale!”
Bella hides her face.

Inside his office, Luke is pacing.
He looks stressed.
Conflicted.
Scared.
Richard enters.
Richard: “Luke… what’s wrong?”
Luke: “Dad… what if I’m not enough for Bella?”
Richard freezes.
Richard: “Where is this coming from?”
Luke: “She deserves someone better. Someone calmer. Someone who doesn’t get jealous. Someone who isn’t… me.”
Richard sighs.
Richard: “Anak… fear means you care. But don’t punish her for your fear.”
Luke looks down.
SCENE 4 — BELLA OVERHEARS
Bella walks toward Luke’s office to bring documents.
She stops when she hears his voice.
Luke: “I don’t want to hurt her.”
Richard: “Then don’t push her away.”
Bella’s heart breaks.
She steps back quietly.
SCENE 5 — BELLA’S TEARS
Bella goes to the pantry.
She sits alone.
Her eyes fill with tears.
Bella (whispering):
“Why is he pulling away… after everything?”
Nikki enters.
Nikki: “Ate Bella… are you crying?”
Bella wipes her tears.
Bella: “No… I’m fine.”
Nikki: “Kuya did something.”
Bella: “He didn’t… he’s just… distant.”
Nikki hugs her.
SCENE 6 — MAYA’S INTERVENTION
Maya arrives at the office.
She sees Bella’s red eyes.
She sees Luke’s closed door.
She sighs.
Maya: “Ay naku… conflict episode nga.”
She enters Luke’s office.
Maya: “Luke. Stop.”
Luke: “Ma…”
Maya: “You’re hurting Bella.”
Luke: “I’m trying to protect her.”
Maya: “From what? From you? Anak… she chose you.”
Luke freezes.
SCENE 7 — BELLA FINALLY SPEAKS
Bella knocks on Luke’s door.
He opens it.
They stare at each other.
Bella’s eyes are soft… but hurt.
Bella: “Luke… did I do something wrong?”
Luke’s chest tightens.
Luke: “No.”
Bella: “Then why are you avoiding me?”
Luke looks away.
Luke: “Bella… I’m scared.”
Bella’s breath catches.
Bella: “Of what?”
Luke: “Of losing you.”
Bella steps closer.
SCENE 8 — THE EMOTIONAL MOMENT
Bella gently touches his arm.
Bella: “Luke… you won’t lose me.”
Luke’s eyes soften.
Luke: “I don’t want to hurt you.”
Bella: “You’re hurting me now.”
Luke freezes.
Bella’s voice trembles.
Bella: “I like you. I chose you. Don’t push me away.”
Luke’s breath shakes.
He looks at her — really looks at her.
Her eyes.
Her sincerity.
Her fear.
Her love.
SCENE 9 — THE FIRST REAL HUG (EMOTIONAL)
Luke pulls her into his arms.
Not a kilig hug.
A real one.
A tight one.
A “don’t leave” hug.
Bella gasps softly.
Her hands grip his shirt.
Luke’s voice cracks.
Luke: “I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.”
Bella closes her eyes.
Bella: “Just… don’t do it again.”
Luke nods against her hair.
SCENE 10 — FAMILY SPYING (OF COURSE)
Behind the door:
- Maya is crying
- Richard is nodding proudly
- Nikki is recording
- Abby is squealing
- Doris is hyperventilating
- Liza is fanning herself
- Manang Fe is praying
