Richard nodded slowly.
“I’m… Bella’s uncle.”
Bella froze behind Maya. “Tito…?”
The man looked at her with guilt in his eyes.
“I didn’t come to take her away. I just… need to talk.”
And just like that, the calm in Bella’s life began to shift.

⭐⭐⭐ EPISODE 12 — WORDPRESS VERSION (LONG)
Title: Episode 12 — The Relative
The Lims arrived home tired but happy after the school competition. Bella was still clutching her ribbon, smiling shyly.
But as they approached the gate, Richard slowed down.
A man stood there — tall, serious, holding a small envelope.
“Can I help you?” Richard asked cautiously.
The man nodded. “Are you Dr. Richard Lim?”
“Yes.”
The man swallowed hard. “I’m… Bella’s uncle. My name is Daniel Ramirez.”
Bella froze behind Maya.
“Tito…?”
Daniel’s eyes softened when he saw her. “Bella… you’ve grown so much.”
Bella stepped back, fear flickering in her eyes.
Maya placed a protective arm around her. “What brings you here?” she asked gently.
Daniel sighed, looking down at the envelope in his hands. “I’m not here to take her away. I know I have no right. I wasn’t there for her or my sister. I… failed them both.”
Bella’s eyes filled with tears.
Daniel continued, voice cracking. “I only came because… I found this among my sister’s things. It’s for Bella. And for you, Dr. Lim.”
He handed the envelope to Richard.
Richard opened it slowly.
Inside were two letters — one addressed to Bella, one addressed to him.
Daniel stepped back. “I just wanted to deliver them myself. After this… I’ll go.”
Bella whispered, “Tito… why didn’t you help Mama?”
Daniel’s face crumpled. “I was young. Stupid. I didn’t know how to be a brother. And when I finally tried to fix things… it was too late.”
Bella looked away, torn between anger and sadness.
Maya knelt beside her. “Anak… you don’t have to decide anything now.”
Daniel nodded. “I understand. I just wanted you to know… you’re not alone. Even if I wasn’t there before… I’m here now. If you ever want to talk.”
He turned to leave.
But Bella’s voice stopped him.
“Tito… wait.”
Daniel turned, hope flickering in his eyes.
Bella wiped her tears. “You can… visit. Sometimes. If Tita Maya and Sir Richard say it’s okay.”
Maya smiled softly. “We’ll talk about it. One step at a time.”
Daniel nodded gratefully. “Thank you… all of you.”
As he walked away, Bella clutched her ribbon tightly.
Richard placed a hand on her shoulder. “You were very brave today.”
Bella whispered, “I’m trying.”
And the Lims knew — this was only the beginning of a new chapter in Bella’s healing.
