Why I Started Creating Digital Products for Educators, Creators, and Entrepreneurs

Excerpt:
After years of creating lessons, resources, presentations, templates, prompts, and business materials, I realized something: many of the tools I was already making for myself could also make someone else’s work easier.
Teachers create things constantly.
Lesson plans.
Worksheets.
Rubrics.
Presentations.
Activities.
Checklists.
Templates.
For years, I created resources because my students needed them.
Later, as I explored entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence, I noticed that I was doing exactly the same thing in a different environment.
I was creating prompts, business templates, social media materials, guides, workflows, and AI resources.
Eventually I asked myself:
Why am I creating everything only once and using it only myself?
That question led me toward digital products.
Create Once, Help Many
One of the things I love about digital products is their scalability.
A useful resource can be created once and help many people.
A teacher might download a classroom template.
An entrepreneur might use a collection of AI prompts.
A creator might need a content-planning system.
A parent might download an educational guide.
Someone else might simply need a checklist that saves an hour of work.
The product doesn’t have to be complicated.
It has to be useful.
Experience Can Become a Product
I used to think creating a digital product meant inventing something completely new.
I’ve changed my mind.
Sometimes the best products come from something you already know how to do.
For me, that includes decades of experience in education combined with newer experience in AI, digital tools, entrepreneurship, and content creation.
That opens possibilities such as:
- AI prompt collections
- Teacher resources
- Canva templates
- Notion templates
- Speaking activities
- AI literacy materials
- Business guides
- Checklists
- E-books
- Mini toolkits
The question becomes:
What do I know that could make another person’s work easier?
AI Changed What I Could Create
Generative AI has accelerated this process.
It doesn’t replace my experience.
Instead, it helps me transform that experience into different formats more efficiently.
An idea can become an outline.
An outline can become a guide.
A guide can become a workbook.
A workbook can become a course.
A collection of frequently asked questions can become a resource.
The human still decides what is valuable, accurate, appropriate, and worth publishing.
Starting Small
I’m deliberately not trying to create a huge store overnight.
I’d rather begin with practical, affordable resources and learn from the people who use them.
Some resources will be paid products.
Others will be free lead magnets.
And some may simply be resources I share because I think they can help.
Suite & Stories gives all of those creations a permanent home.
More Than Another Income Stream
Yes, digital products can become a source of income.
But that’s not the only reason I’m interested in creating them.
I like the idea that knowledge accumulated over many years doesn’t have to remain inside one classroom, one computer, or one notebook.
It can be packaged.
Shared.
Improved.
And used again.
That is what I’m building now:
Practical tools created from real experience—for people doing real work.
One product at a time.
