The family rushed back to the car after the attack at the school. Bella held the metal box tightly against her chest, her father’s letter inside, her hands trembling from adrenaline and fear.
Luke sat beside her, bruised and breathless.
Richard drove with fierce urgency.
Elise watched the road behind them.
Bella’s mother cried softly.
Maya whispered prayers.
But Bella wasn’t thinking about the danger.
She was thinking about the truth.
Her father’s letter.
The list.
The message.
“Proof of what Delgado did to your mother.”
Bella’s world had shifted.

“I’m going to Delgado.”

Richard turned. “Bella, you can’t.”
Elise stepped forward. “He’ll kill you.”
Bella shook her head. “Not if I have what he wants.”
She lifted the box.
Elise whispered, “Bella… that’s dangerous.”
Bella nodded. “I know.”
Luke’s voice cracked. “Bella, please… don’t do this.”
Bella touched his cheek gently. “Luke… I have to.”

Richard tried to block the door. “Bella, you’re not leaving.”
Bella looked at him with heartbreaking calm. “Richard… thank you for protecting me. But this is my fight.”
Richard’s voice trembled. “You’re like a daughter to me.”
Bella smiled softly. “I know.”
Elise stepped closer. “Bella… let me go with you.”
Bella shook her head. “No. He wants me alone.”
Bella’s mother cried, “Anak… please…”
Bella hugged her tightly. “Mom… I’m doing this for you.”
Maya whispered, “Lord, protect her…”
Luke grabbed Bella’s hand. “Bella… don’t leave me.”
Bella looked at him, tears forming. “I’m not leaving you. I’m ending this so I can stay.”
Luke’s breath caught.
Bella kissed his cheek — then slipped out the back door before anyone could stop her.
Luke shouted, “BELLA!”
Richard ran after her.
Elise followed.

But Bella was already gone.

“My father wrote this,” she said. “He hid the list. He hid the truth. He hid everything because of what you did.”
Delgado’s jaw tightened. “Your father betrayed me.”
Bella shook her head. “No. You betrayed him.”
Delgado stepped closer. “Bella… you don’t understand—”
Bella cut him off.
“I know what you did to my mother.”
Delgado froze.
Bella’s voice didn’t shake.
“You hurt her. You threatened her. You used her. And when my father tried to expose you, you killed him.”
Delgado’s eyes hardened. “Your father made choices.”
Bella stepped closer. “So did you.”
Delgado whispered, “Bella… you’re playing a dangerous game.”
Bella held up the letter.
“My father left proof. And I’m going to use it.”
Delgado’s voice dropped. “You won’t survive this.”
Bella whispered, “I don’t need to survive you. I just need to end you.”

Footsteps echoed behind her.
Luke.
He ran toward Bella, breathless, terrified. “Bella!”
Bella turned. “Luke… go back.”
Luke shook his head. “Never.”
Delgado smirked. “How touching.”
Luke stepped in front of Bella. “You’re not touching her.”
Delgado tilted his head. “You think you can stop me?”
Luke clenched his fists. “I don’t think. I know.”
Bella whispered, “Luke… please…”
Luke didn’t move.
Richard and Elise arrived seconds later, breathless and panicked.
Richard shouted, “Bella, get away from him!”
Elise growled, “Delgado, step back.”
Delgado smiled.
“You brought your whole family,” he said. “How sweet.”

Bella stepped around Luke and faced Delgado again.
“This ends tonight,” she said.
Delgado nodded. “Yes. It does.”
Bella lifted the letter.
“I’m giving this to the police.”
Delgado smirked. “They won’t believe you.”
Bella shook her head. “They will. Elise will testify. My mother will testify. Tita Lani will testify. And the list will prove everything.”
Delgado’s smile faded completely.
Bella whispered:
“You’re done.”
Delgado stepped closer.
“Bella… you’re making a mistake.”
Bella stepped closer too.
“No. I’m making a choice.”
Delgado’s eyes darkened.
Luke grabbed Bella’s arm. “Bella… please…”
Bella whispered, “I’m okay.”
Delgado whispered:
“Then let’s finish this.”
