⭐ Facebook Short Version (Teaser)

She showed up for a blind date she didn’t want.

He showed up for a business meeting he wasn’t prepared for — something about Atheren, digital products, and an AI project he didn’t fully understand.

They were both wrong… and somehow perfectly matched.

He wasn’t loud. He wasn’t flirty. He wasn’t trying to impress her.

He was just… sincere.

The kind who admitted he didn’t know her name. The kind who stayed even after realizing the mistake. The kind who said, “If this wasn’t the date you expected… maybe it can be the one you remember.”

And she felt something she didn’t expect:

A chaotic, accidental, business‑flavored kilig.

⭐ “The Blind Date Mix‑Up (Atheren Edition)” Word Count: ~1,700 words

Rica didn’t want to be here.

Her friend had begged her — “Just one blind date! One! You need to go out!” So here she was, sitting in a restaurant she didn’t even like, wearing a dress she didn’t plan to wear, waiting for a man she didn’t want to meet.

She checked her phone.

No message. No update. No sign of the blind date.

Perfect.

She was about to leave when someone approached her table.

“Hi,” he said. “Are you… the Atheren consultant?”

She blinked. “The what?”

“The consultant,” he repeated, adjusting his glasses. “I’m here for the business meeting. Your message said something about digital products and an AI project?”

She stared at him.

Tall. Neat hair. Clean shirt. Holding a folder labeled ‘Atheren: Digital Products & AI Literacy’ like it was a shield.

Definitely not a blind date.

“I’m not a consultant,” she said.

He froze. “Oh.”

They stared at each other.

Then he slowly sat down, cheeks turning pink.

“I think I’m in the wrong place.”

She sighed. “Me too.”

He looked at her dress, then at the table setup, then at her again.

“Blind date?” he asked gently.

She nodded.

“Business meeting?” she asked back.

He nodded.

They both laughed — the kind of laugh that escapes before you can stop it.

He placed the folder on the table. “I can leave if you want.”

She hesitated.

He wasn’t loud. He wasn’t flirty. He wasn’t trying to impress her.

He was just… kind.

“You can stay,” she said. “My date isn’t coming anyway.”

He smiled — warm, relieved, a little shy. “Then… may I join you?”

She nodded.

They ordered food. They talked. They discovered they had nothing in common and yet everything felt easy.

He told her he was trying to learn more about digital entrepreneurship. She told him she ran Atheren, built digital products, taught tutoring classes, and was developing an AI literacy project for students.

He listened like every detail mattered.

“You teach kids?” he asked.

“Grades 3–12,” she said. “Public speaking, AI literacy, digital citizenship… all the fun stuff.”

He smiled. “That’s incredible.”

She shrugged. “It’s just what I do.”

“No,” he said softly. “It’s who you are.”

Her heart did a small, traitorous flutter.

At one point, he looked at her, eyes soft.

“I didn’t prepare for this,” he said. “But I’m glad I’m here.”

She swallowed.

“Me too.”

He leaned forward, voice low.

“If this wasn’t the date you expected… maybe it can be the one you remember.”

Her breath caught.

He wasn’t asking for anything. He wasn’t pushing. He wasn’t assuming.

He was offering a moment.

A possibility.

A beginning.

When the bill arrived, he reached for it.

“You don’t have to,” she said.

“I know,” he replied. “But I want to.”

She didn’t argue.

Outside, the night air was cool, the streetlights soft, and the world felt strangely gentle. They stood there for a moment, neither wanting to leave first.

He cleared his throat.

“Can I… see you again?”

She smiled — slow, warm, real.

“Send me the details,” she said. “But next time… let’s make sure we’re both in the right place.”

He laughed — soft and genuine.

“Deal.”

As he walked away, Esther felt something she hadn’t felt in a long time.

A chaotic, accidental, business‑flavored kilig.

Maybe mistakes weren’t always mistakes. Maybe wrong places weren’t always wrong. Maybe some beginnings started with mix‑ups… and ended with something sweet.
