⭐ Facebook Short Version (Teaser)

Mira never believed in “love at first sight.” Until she met the boy in the library.

He wasn’t loud. He wasn’t flashy. He wasn’t even trying to get her attention.

He just looked up from his book… smiled… and somehow made her forget what she was supposed to be doing.

But when she accidentally left her notebook behind, she didn’t expect him to chase after her — breathless, worried, calling her name like he’d known her forever.

And inside her notebook?

He found something she never meant anyone to see.

A sketch of him.

The boy in the library.

Episode begins.

⭐ “The Boy in the Library”

Word Count: ~1,600 words

The campus library was Mira’s favorite place in the world. Quiet, warm, filled with the soft rustle of pages and the occasional squeak of old wooden chairs. She came here every afternoon after class — not because she needed to study, but because she liked the peace.

Today, though, the peace felt different.

Because someone was sitting in her usual spot.

A boy.

⭐ The First Look

He wasn’t doing anything special — just reading, one hand holding the book, the other tapping lightly on the table. His hair fell slightly over his forehead, and he kept pushing it back without noticing.

Mira froze.

She didn’t know him. She’d never seen him before. But something about him made her heart skip.

He looked up.

Their eyes met.

He smiled.

Mira forgot how to breathe.

She quickly looked away and pretended to browse the shelves, but her hands were shaking so badly she almost dropped a book.

She whispered to herself, “Get it together, Mira…”

But she couldn’t.

Not when he kept glancing at her. Not when he smiled again. Not when her heart kept doing that weird fluttering thing.

⭐ The Notebook

Mira sat at a table far from him, trying to focus on her notes. She opened her notebook — pages filled with doodles, reminders, and random thoughts.

She didn’t notice when the boy stood up. She didn’t notice when he walked past her. She didn’t notice when her notebook slipped off the table as she packed her things.

But he did.

She left the library without realizing she’d dropped it.

⭐ He Calls Her Name

Mira was halfway down the hallway when she heard someone shout.

“Mira!”

She turned.

The boy was running toward her — breathless, holding her notebook like it was something precious.

“You… left this,” he said, panting.

Mira blinked. “You… know my name?”

He smiled shyly. “You wrote it on the cover.”

Mira wanted to melt into the floor.

“Oh. Right. Yes. Thank you.”

He handed her the notebook.

But he didn’t leave.

He hesitated.

Then he said softly, “I… saw something inside.”

Mira’s heart dropped. “What did you see?”

He opened the notebook to a page she didn’t remember drawing.

A sketch.

Of him.

Sitting in the library. Reading. Smiling.

Mira’s soul left her body.

“I— I didn’t mean— I wasn’t— It’s not—”

He laughed softly. “It’s okay.”

Mira covered her face. “This is so embarrassing.”

He shook his head. “No. It’s… nice.”

She peeked through her fingers. “Nice?”

He nodded. “No one’s ever drawn me before.”

Mira whispered, “I wasn’t supposed to show anyone…”

He smiled again — that soft, warm smile that made her heart flutter.

“I’m glad I saw it.”

⭐ The Walk

They walked together toward the campus gate. Mira tried not to stare at him, but he kept glancing at her like he was memorizing her face.

“What’s your name?” she asked.

“Eli,” he said. “I’m new here.”

“That explains why I haven’t seen you.”

He laughed. “I’ve seen you.”

Mira almost tripped. “What?”

Eli shrugged. “You always sit in the corner by the window. You look peaceful.”

Mira’s heart did a full somersault.

“You… noticed me?”

He nodded. “Every day.”

Mira didn’t know what to say.

So she didn’t say anything.

She just smiled.

⭐ The Moment

They reached the gate.

Eli scratched the back of his neck. “Um… Mira?”

“Yes?”

“Would it be weird if I asked you to… draw me again?”

Mira blinked. “Draw you?”

He nodded shyly. “Only if you want to.”

Mira felt her cheeks warm. “I… can.”

Eli smiled — brighter this time.

“Good,” he said softly. “Because I want to draw you too.”

Mira’s heart exploded.

“You… draw?”

He nodded. “Only things that make me feel something.”

Mira swallowed. “And I make you feel something?”

Eli looked at her — really looked — and Mira felt her breath catch.

“Yes,” he whispered. “You do.”

⭐ The Ending

They stood there for a moment — two strangers who weren’t strangers anymore.

Mira hugged her notebook to her chest.

Eli looked at her like she was the most interesting thing he’d ever seen.

And when he said, “See you tomorrow?” Mira didn’t hesitate.

“Yes,” she whispered. “Tomorrow.”

She walked away smiling.

He watched her leave, smiling too.

And somewhere between the library shelves and the campus gate, Mira realized something:

Sometimes, kilig doesn’t come from grand gestures.

Sometimes, it comes from a boy in a library…

who smiles at you like he’s been waiting to meet you all along.
